Our beautiful heritage-listed building is a filmmaker’s dream, featuring exquisite free Renaissance and Palazzo-style architecture, and retaining many original features from the 1920s – a stunning film location!
The building features an abundance of natural light, unique Art Deco detail, and a fabulous “vintage vibe”. Various private rooms, bars and lounge areas, quirky corridors, majestic lobbies and stairwells, create a haven for a wide variety of filming and photographic genres.
One of the most highly coveted areas of the building is the magnificent grand dining room complete with gorgeous sunlit alcoves, tall Ionic pilasters, ornate cornices, crystal chandeliers, and a romantic orchestral balcony.
Built, owned and operated by the NSW Masonic Club, the building is of huge cultural significance to Sydney and the Club maintains a comprehensive program of refurbishment, renovation and restoration. Many parts of the building retain their original purpose and have been restored to their original condition.

Our property provides the perfect setting for a variety of commercial applications, whether it be filming television series, music videos or product TVCs to high fashion editorial shoots.
Filmmakers and photographers have carried out many successful shoots including TV interviews, pilot shows, fashion shoots and commercials. Onsite accommodation, plenty of storage and a designated loading zone make filming in Sydney CBD a breeze.
Our reasonable location fees suit any production budget and the income supports our not-for-profit organisation in preserving one of Sydney’s most iconic treasures!
