Our room was very comfortable - it was the quietest and most comfortable room we've ever stayed in. Period. Room was compact, very clean and restive. Shower was next level with great pressure and lots of hot water. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We've already booked our next trip to Sydney with them.

Last evening the 24th at The Castlereagh Boutique, an absolutely wonderful evening of good food, great service and sensational entertainment with artist - Milko Foucault-Larche and Corinne Andrew, along with two other talented, professional musicians.

Good morning, I wanted to tell you what a fabulous time we had on Saturday night. It was so wonderful to have someone look after all the details for me and your eye for detail is fabulous. We had so many people tell us how beautiful and elegant the room looked and asked me “where did you find this amazing venue”. The food was also very good, everyone enjoyed their meals. How wonderful it was having all the people that I love in one room and it was a night I will always remember. So thankyou again for all your hard work and care in planning our special night, it was a real pleasure working with you.

We had a great experience. Our Functions Manager, Costa was thorough and organised with regards to the process of planning the wedding reception. He sent us regular emails that were really reassuring. The venue was beautiful, and they were very accommodating to our guests’ dietary needs. They were flexible with everything. Couldn’t speak highly enough of them, we had a great time!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU Costa Ryan and I had a fantastic night and a lot had to to do with a well-planned reception. Great thanks to your and your team…we loved everything. Sorry we didn’t get to say it in person with so much going on!

Thank you very much for all your help with our wedding reception on the day and all the planning and preparation that came before. We were definitely apprehensive leading up to it but our talks with you always put our minds at ease. The venue itself was amazing and we loved all aspects of the ballroom including the layout, lighting, music/DJ and flowers. The room had an amazing ambience and our guests were enthralled by the unique décor and the warm setting. TThe food was amazing, and a lot of guests commented on how delicious it was and that it went above their expectations for wedding catering. The extra wine choices also went down very well. You and your staff were also understanding of last-minute changes and took care of the minor details on the night flawlessly, and without disturbing us. Please pass on our compliments to them.   What an amazing night! Sincerely, Jen and Sean

We would like to thank Castlereagh Boutique Hotel and their staff for managing our wedding reception successfully. From start to finish, it ran smoothly in the beautiful and elegant setting of the Cellos Grand Dining Room. All the arrangement functioned faultlessly, and the staff were courteous, welcoming and responsive. Our guests without exception were full of compliments about the venue, service and the high-quality food. It was a perfect night and we had fantastic memories to see us into married life- thanks for your part in that!

A great old world charm hotel providing luxury and comfort while perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants, the Opera house, Harbour Bridge, Botanical gardens, rail network and ferry services. Fantastic, helpful staff compliment the Castlereagh being the number one option for a stay in Sydney. We'll be back!!

The Cheese and Wine Club is a prestigious luncheon club with its feet soundly based in academia and commerce. It is now in its 50thyear of operations and after a long and detailed search and evaluation process, is proud to call the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel its home and, more specifically, the Adams Room, where we hold our monthly lunches. We have found the Hotel management to be highly professional in its relationship with us and we enjoy a top quality lunch, due in no short measure to the personal and end to end relationship that has been built with event catering personnel. We sincerely appreciate and value the openness of our relationship, as do our members. The Adams room is a wonderful venue for us and is one of those increasingly rare venues where one immediately thinks, “if only these walls could talk”.If you are looking for a venue that can deliver the goods you owe it to yourself to consider the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel

The charming old world character and decor of the hotel is as welcoming as the friendly staff. The Front Officer Manager made our family feel so welcome, providing information and willing support with bags to our very large and comfortable room on level 11. Thank you Armando. All the beds were very comfortable, the linen fresh, the bathroom huge and newly renovated with lots of hot water. The hotel is central to everything, parks, kids play parks, restaurants, theatre , shopping, the Rocks, Opera House, Botanical gardens and transport. Excellent value.

- Hilary, Cairns

Beautifully restored and maintained to keep it's 1920's charm and the staff were equally as charming and welcoming throughout my visit. Will definitely return when I next visit Sydney. Suggesting to friends who are looking for a central and reasonably priced stay.

The Castlereagh Boutique Hotel is a centrally located gem that harks back to the classic glamour of days gone by. The hotel is spotless with many heritage features and staff have been well trained to address any concerns from guests. There are several dining options available as well as room service if needed, and the room (queen and single beds) was well appointed with good quality tea and coffee, and all bathroom necessities provided.

- Muriel & Lisa, Brisbane

Easily missed on Castlereagh Street, this is indeed a boutique hotel in the genuine sense. Quiet, refined and with excellent dining. If you just fancy popping in for a drink or two, I recommend the ground floor Reagh Bar - open Tuesday to Friday, 1600 until late.

I recently spent one night at the Castlereagh Boutique hotel. The location is fantastic. The hotel is warm and inviting, clean and comfortable. Danny at Reception is the best! Incredibly helpful, genuinely friendly, and resourceful. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I'm in Sydney.

We stayed here for a family reunion in 3 different rooms on the 6th floor. Loved the hotel, lots of character and the location is great. Friendly helpful staff, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again next time we are in Sydney.

- Janette, Perth

We recently stayed here for just one night and were very happy with everything. The beds were really comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and were very impressed. The location was perfect for what we wanted as well. I will definitely stay here again.

We were absolutely delighted with our choice. This is a gorgeous old world hotel and the service was impeccable. Everything about the hotel we loved including the lovely decor and furniture and the room furnishings. The bed was so comfortable. Highly recommended.

As a regular, this doesn't disappoint. I've been staying here in and off since a child myself with my parents over 40years ago. Clean, central & reasonably priced (well, for Sydney anyway). Staff helpful with food and bar in house.

- Sonya, Muswellbrook

Our room was very comfortable, quiet and of a reasonable size. Great location in the city and so close to the train station for travel outside main centre. Plenty of eating places close by. Highly recommended.

- Jill, Brisbane

The hotel is in a terrific location, walking distance to the Opera House and harbour. Loads of old world charm made this a great choice for our stay. Rooms are well equipped, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Check in was smooth and staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of great places to eat nearby.
