From the moment you step through our doors, you will be transported into the magical era of the 1920s.

It's no wonder so many couples choose the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel for stunning Art Deco and Gatsby-style wedding receptions. Our heritage-listed Cellos Grand Dining Room, located on level four of the boutique hotel, offers classic elegance is encapsulated in the décor and ambiance of the room.

This beautiful room features an abundance of natural light, ornate high ceilings, beautifully restored 1920’s architecture, and handcrafted crystal chandeliers making it perfectly suited to the elegance of your wedding day.

We have the capacity for up to 130 guests for an a la carte reception and 200 for stand-up cocktails. Or for something more intimate, the classic Adam Room can host up to 60 guests cocktail style, 40 guests for a la carte, or 24 for an elegant banquet table.

We pride ourselves on the support we offer to all our couples. From the moment your booking is confirmed you will be guided through the process with complete ease. Your dedicated wedding coordinator will be there every step of the way to ensure a stress free and enjoyable experience.

Along with the inclusions of your chosen package your wedding coordinator will:

Design a floor plan to suit your requirements
Provide personal one on one consultancy regarding all elements of your wedding reception
Connect you with appropriate external suppliers and professionals
Place bonbonnieres and name cards as required on the day
Oversee the setup of the room including floral arrangements, theming and decorations
Liaise with all included suppliers to ensure ease on your wedding day
Be present for the start of the reception

We had a great experience. Our Functions Manager, Costa was thorough and organised with regards to the process of planning the wedding reception. He sent us regular emails that were really reassuring. The venue was beautiful, and they were very accommodating to our guests’ dietary needs. They were flexible with everything. Couldn’t speak highly enough of them, we had a great time!

perfect night

We would like to thank Castlereagh Boutique Hotel and their staff for managing our wedding reception successfully. From start to finish, it ran smoothly in the beautiful and elegant setting of the Cellos Grand Dining Room. Reunion Weekend

A great old world charm hotel providing luxury and comfort while perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants, the Opera house, Harbour Bridge, Botanical gardens, rail network and ferry services. Fantastic, helpful staff compliment the Castlereagh being the number one option for a stay in Sydney. We'll be back!!

Central and fabulous

The charming old world character and decor of the hotel is as welcoming as the friendly staff. The Front Officer Manager made our family feel so welcome, providing information and willing support with bags to our very large and comfortable room on level 11. Thank you Armando. All the beds were very comfortable, the linen fresh, the bathroom huge and newly renovated with lots of hot water. The hotel is central to everything, parks, kids play parks, restaurants, theatre , shopping, the Rocks, Opera House, Botanical gardens and transport. Excellent value.
