For bookings with 20 or more we can host your High Tea in any number of our art deco style function rooms on any day of the week.

Conditions: Minimum 20 guests Monday to Saturday. Minimum 50 guests on Sunday

Cellos Grand Dining Room is the perfect locale for relaxed elegant entertaining. Set in the beautifully restored Dining Room, featuring original 1920s Art Deco architecture with high ceilings and chandeliers, a truly unique historic ambience with a light modern feel.

With a convenient Sydney CBD location, the hotel is easily accessible by car or public transport and guests who would like to make a night of it can stay in one of our comfortably appointed boutique hotel rooms.

Christmas and New Year Trading Hours


Friday 22nd December 2023
Lounge (Level 2) - Open from 10am to 3pm -Lunch is served from 12pm to 2pm (Last Day of Trading)
Reagh Bar (Ground Floor) - Open from 5pm (Last Day of Trading)

Monday 25th December 2023 – Christmas Day Lunch
Cellos Grand Dining Room, level 4 – for pre-bookings only
$180 per person.  Member price $170 per person.  

Tuesday 26th December 2023 to Monday 1 January 2024
Lounge (Level 2) is closed. The Reagh Bar (Ground Floor) is open for guests to relax in.
Limited beverages and snacks are available through Reception.

Tuesday 2nd January 2024 to Friday 19th January 2024
Lounge (Level 2) is open for Members & Guests, weekdays from 10am to 3pm.
Limited Beverages and light snack menu available.

Monday 22nd January 2024 onwards
Lounge (Level 2) reopens with full meal & beverage service available.
Open from 10am to 3pm (Lunch is served from 12pm to 2pm)

Tuesday 30th January 2024 onwards
Reagh Bar (Ground Floor) reopens from 5pm


A light Continental Breakfast will be offered daily in the Reagh Bar, Ground Floor from 7am to 9.30am for Hotel Guests. A la Carte Breakfast is not available during Christmas and New Year holidays. A la Carte is back on Monday 22nd January 2024.

CHAPTER 5.1 CAFÉ – Ground Floor

Open during the holiday period, 23rd December to 14th January, including weekends, from 7am to 12 Noon.


Cellos is closed for annual maintenance and reopens from Wednesday 31st January 2024.
