See Education Scholarship

Annual Fundraising Dinner

Saturday 21st October 2017, 6:45pm

Join us for an evening of fine dining, great live jazz music and warm hospitality to support SEE Education Scholarship Inc. in raising funds to continue their support for the education of young children from East African Mission Orphanage (EAMO) near Nakuru, Kenya.

Established for over 14 years, East African Mission Orphanage provides a loving home for more than 225 children including babies and teenage mothers and is run by
an Australian couple, Ralph and Mary Spinks.

SEE held its first event in 2014 and uses the funds raised to provide opportunities for secondary school students from the orphanage to undertake vocational courses not otherwise available to them.

We are proud to say that so far three young people have completed courses and all now have jobs to support themselves, their EAMO family and a wider community.

Sophie is managing a hairdressing salon, Jessica is a pastry chef and Sammy is now a qualified air-conditioning and
refrigeration mechanic. Having the opportunity for further study and to be self-supporting was only ever a dream. SEE
with your support makes these dreams realities.

We currently have 7 teens we are sponsoring at various stages in their courses. We hope to count on your support and see you on October 21st.
